Malibu, California is an affluent, beachfront city near Los Angeles. The city itself is about 21 miles of Pacific Ocean coast, the ownership of which is considered prestigious, prime real estate. Know as "the Bu," Malibu is the site of the first working laser, a far cry from how they are better known - as a hot spot for Hollywood stars and surfers. Some of the city's beaches include Surfrider Beach, Zuma Beach, Malibu State Beach and Topanga State Beach.
