Framingham, Massachusetts, about 20 minutes from Boston, was founded in 1700 and ranked #36 on CNN Money Magazine's "Best Places to Live in the United States" in 2013. The city's economy is based on retail and office complexes. Its three major business districts are known as the "Golden Triangle," made up of several retail shops as well. Bowditch Field is the primary athletic facility for Framingham. The city has about 400 acres of land dedicated to public conservation. Framingham has three colleges, including Framingham State University. The University was founded as an all-women's school in 1839, but now boasts a student body that's about 65 percent female.
